Pre Race

Race weekend again? YES! 🇭🇺🤩

Our favorite Formula 1 driver Kevin Magnussen and the magnificent MoneyGram Haas F1 Team is in full swing at Hungaroring ahead of the Hungarian Grand Prix this weekend. Silverstone was a tough weekend for K-Mag as he retired from both the qualifying session and the race – but that’s racing, and the Danish Formula 1 ace is ready to rumble again.

What does Kevin think about the Hungarian Grand Prix – and will the team be able to find the strength they need to be competitive in the race?

“First of all, I like the Hungarian Grand Prix as it’s a tight, little twisty track. It’s a bit difficult when it comes to overtaking, which puts even more emphasis on qualifying. We’re obviously facing some issues getting competitive on Sunday. We can often be competitive on Saturday in qualifying when we have to do just one lap on the tires on low fuel, but it’s a different story on Sunday. We’re working very hard to investigate what the cause is and come up with solutions. It’s a collective effort, and everyone is working super hard. I think with all the talent we have in the team, I’m very confident we can solve the issues.”

FUN FACTS: The Hungarian Grand Prix has been held annually for no less than 37 years – the second longest unbroken streak on the calendar – starting in 1986 where the Williams driver Nelson Piquet won the race. Among Formula 1 drivers, the 4.4km Hungaroring is often compared to large-scaled go-kart track because of its narrow and twisty layout.

Day #2

A short pre-race update from the Hungarian Formula 1 Grand Prix, where our Admin By Request powered Kevin Magnussen will start today’s race from a P19 after a tough qualifying session yesterday.

As we all know, it’s the race that matters – and we believe in you, K-Mag! Go out and give it a BIG push! 👊 👊 👊

Day #3

“We must keep our heads cool and move onto the next one”

Unfortunately, another disappointing weekend for Kevin Magnussen as the Danish Formula 1 driver and Admin By Request ambassador finished on a P17 in the Hungarian Grand Prix. It’s obvious that the MoneyGram Haas F1 Team are still struggling with tire degradation issues on Sunday’s races – but it also seems that the necessary upgrades are underway.

“I’m not feeling good about the results in Hungary, it was just another disappointing weekend for us. I had no pace. We always try and learn something from each race, so we’re going to try and do something different at Spa-Francorchamps next weekend. At this point, it’s important to be patient and wait for some upgrades. We must keep our heads cool and move onto the next one,” said K-Mag.

We hear you, Kevin! Crossing all our fingers
